GOOD PRACTICE EXAMPLES IMPROVE WORK

On the basis of the document `Cooperation of two city municipalities Palilula-Nis and Lazarevac – Belgrade`, that was signed in the end of January this year in Palilula Municipal building, as first activity of connecting local self governments `for realization and providing common interests` seminar was organized in Palilula Municipality. This meeting with the title Improving the work of `City municipal administrations` was designed to the delegation of Lazarevac Municipality and had for its goal the experience exchange in the administrations work, as well as with the introducing with the projects and work methods of Palilula Municipality-Nis stressed Bojan Ilic the Head of Municipal administration of Palilula Municipality. Milan Djurdjevic, president of Palilula Municipal Assembly welcomed the delegation of Lazarevac Municipality: Veljko Mihajlovic, head of Municipal Administration, Milos Zivkovic, Chief of president`s cabinet and Dusan Markovic, head of financial department.

As it was previously announced, the first meeting of the representatives of two municipalities and Programme of seminar took into account the presentation of work organization and projects currently being realized by Palilula Municipality. Natasa Pecic Kostadinovic, chief of the Department of legal and common affairs spoke about the System of quality management ISO 9001 2008. The guests from Lazarevac Municipality got introduced with the policy and aims of work quality of Palilula Administration, way of organization of system quality documents, making and implementation of documentation. About the operative procedure –planning, creating and following of Municipal budget realization spoke Ana Stojkovic, chief of the Financial department. About the protocol, dress codes, cultural differences, international cooperation and cooperation between cities and municipalities, organization of cultural and sport manifestations, giving stimuli to local cultural scene and amateurism and other activities spoke Ivana Jocic Veselic, and about PR, media contacts, public informing about the Municipal work and other affairs of communication with organizations and institutions, website, publishing activity, photo and video documentation spoke Dragan Vidojkovic.

During this seminar, it was also talked about the affairs of initiation and creating professional projects that come out from international cooperation, cooperation with other municipalities in the country and abroad and civil society organizations. The guests were introduced with the work of Contact center INFO 48. About the reasons for introducing INFO 48, benefits from introducing system for citizens, local self government and public enterprises and what does this system actually mean spoke Dragan Terzic, from the Department for finance, estate-legal and communal affairs and Marija Keca, coordinator of Contact centre INFO 48. The participants of the seminar visited City Administration of Nis – City Call center and were introduced with its work by Milos Stojadinovic, project coordinator.

Working visit of Lazarevac delegation to Palilula Municipality lasted two days. After the estimation of all the participants, it was good and very valuable business cooperation of two municipalities was thus established.
